By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain critical IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) supporting manufacturing operations.Administer and support manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, and other shop floor applications.Ensure high availability and performance of production-critical IT systems to minimize downtime.Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and practices for both IT and operational technology (OT) environments.Perform regular data backups, system monitoring, and disaster recovery planning specific to manufacturing data.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT hardware, software, and network issues for all plant personnel.Collaborate with engineering and production teams on IT-related projects and system integrations.Recommended QualificationsProficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.Strong understanding and experience with network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).Demonstrated experience managing virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V).Familiarity with IT support for manufacturing systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, ERP integration).Experience implementing and managing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.Bonus QualificationsExperience with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, PLC, or industrial control systems.Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics).Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, OPC UA).Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for OT/ICS environments (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443).Experience supporting IoT/IIoT platforms and data acquisition systems.Why Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
