We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse (RN) with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience to support complex Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures in a fast-paced Level 1 Academic Medical Center setting.This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong RN who thrives in high-acuity surgical environments and values teamwork, innovation, and exceptional patient care.Schedule: Rotating ShiftShift Length: 12 HoursScheduled Weekly Hours: 36What You’ll DoScrub and circulate for Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic surgeriesDeliver direct patient care throughout the perioperative process using evidence-based nursing practiceAssess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate individualized patient care plansCollaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teamsMonitor patient responses and act quickly in emergent situationsSupport patient and family education throughout the surgical experienceMaintain safe, compliant, and high-quality clinical practice standardsUtilize clinical technology and documentation systems effectivelyParticipate in quality improvement and support a collaborative team cultureRequired QualificationsActive California RN LicenseCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) BLS CertificationMinimum 3+ years of CVOR experienceAbility to scrub and circulate Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic surgeriesPrevious travel assignment experience requiredLevel 1 Academic Medical Center experience requiredStrong communication and clinical decision-making skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or universityCompensationPay - The anticipated wage for this position is between $88 and $92.
