Teacher Assistant – Childcare (Ages 6 Weeks–6 Years) Location: Gresham, OR Program: Learning Days Learning Days is seeking a caring, dependable Teacher Assistant to join our team in Gresham! This position works with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old in a supportive, nurturing early learning environment. Responsibilities: Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines Support the care, supervision, and safety of children at all times Help with diapering, toileting, feeding, and nap routines Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Support positive behavior guidance and emotional development Follow licensing rules, health & safety policies, and program procedures Communicate respectfully with children, families, and team members Qualifications: Passion for working with young children Ability to work with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years Reliable, patient, and team-oriented Able to meet Oregon Child Care Licensing requirements CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain) Experience in childcare preferred (but not required — we will train the right candidate!) Requirements: Background check through Oregon CCLD Enrollment in or completion of ORO / required trainings Ability to lift, bend, and actively engage with children Why Join Learning Days?
