The result is a culture that values safety, efficiency, and compassion-for both patients and staff.Role Summary:The Perioperative Registered Nurse (Circulating Nurse) plays a critical role in managing patient care throughout the intraoperative experience. Working outside the sterile field, the RN circulator ensures a safe, efficient, and supportive surgical environment while serving as the patient's advocate and coordinating the efforts of the surgical team.Hours:PRN, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (hours vary based on center needs).What You'll do:Assess patient needs preoperatively and intraoperativelyDevelop and implement individualized care plansCoordinate and communicate with the surgical team to maintain a safe, efficient OR environmentMonitor patient positioning, safety, and equipment useEnsure accurate documentation and reportingSupport quality improvement and compliance initiativesUphold patient confidentiality and safety protocolsCollaborate across departments to optimize outcomesWhat You'll bring:Graduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent RN license in IllinoisMinimum 1 year OR experience within the past 3-5 yearsBLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hireStrong critical thinking, communication, and team skills Compensation:Our Hourly ranges are based on role, level, and location.
