The result is a culture that values safety, efficiency, and compassion-for both patients and staff.Role Summary:The Perioperative Registered Nurse (Circulating Nurse) plays a critical role in managing patient care throughout the intraoperative experience. Working outside the sterile field, the RN circulator ensures a safe, efficient, and supportive surgical environment while serving as the patient's advocate and coordinating the efforts of the surgical team.Hours:PRN, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (hours vary based on center needs).What You'll do:Assess patient needs preoperatively and intraoperativelyDevelop and implement individualized care plansCoordinate and communicate with the surgical team to maintain a safe, efficient OR environmentMonitor patient positioning, safety, and equipment useEnsure accurate documentation and reportingSupport quality improvement and compliance initiativesUphold patient confidentiality and safety protocolsCollaborate across departments to optimize outcomesWhat You'll bring:Graduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent RN license in IllinoisMinimum 1 year OR experience within the past 3-5 yearsBLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hireStrong critical thinking, communication, and team skills Compensation:Our Hourly ranges are based on role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location and additional factors such as relevant skills, experience, and education or training.
