Associate Packaging Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, Florida Type: Direct Hire Job #11700 Salary: $75000 Location Type: On-Site Our client is seeking to bring in an Associate Packaging Engineer to support New Product Introductions, manufacturing operations, and assist regulatory with technical knowledge to meet industry standards. Required Education/Experience: Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Packaging Engineering or relevant packaging discipline Coordinate with external vendors to consult on packaging function, reliability, cost, and imaging Support, by preparing in oral or written form, package development and maintenance project requirements to stakeholders Display adequate confidence in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques to resolve manufacturing or quality related issues Research, identify, analyze, and recommend new process technologies or materials to improve specific applications Preferred Education/Experience: Graduate degree in Packaging Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with an internship in a CPG regulated environment Familiarity with case or pouch sealing packaging in a sterilized application Supported the packaging in a new product introduction setting, reviewing designs for feasibility and accuracy
