ICU Travel Nurse Opportunity Job Type: Travel Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: ICU Weekly Pay: $1,507 Shift Details: Shift Days - 3 x 12 Job Order Details: Start Date: 06/15/2026 End Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 Week(s) Float Required: No Job Description Requirements: 2 years of experience preferred Travel experience preferred State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EMR: Epic experience required Core clinical skills: Ventilator management, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, Central line/PICC/port care and arterial/PAC monitoring, Titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips, management of dysrhythmias, ABG interpretation, blood product administration, IV starts/maintenance, phlebotomy, procedural assistance (chest tube, pre/post cardiac cath), sedation monitoring. Schedule: Shift: 3x12 Days Weekend coverage: required Assignment Details: Patient ratio: 1:2 Beds on unit: 10 Daily census: 8 Compliance / Notes: All RTO must be listed at time of submittal Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing Orientation: 24 hours Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a comprehensive manner. Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct assessments and maintain accurate patient records using the electronic charting system. Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
