As a Teacher, you will lead a class of students during after school hours through the school year. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!Responsibilities: Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standardsEncourage the development of students' critical thinking skillsPrepare any necessary learning materialsAssist with homeworkTake attendanceCollaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environmentReport and document behavioral incidentsQualifications: A passion for children Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferredUnderstanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom managementKnowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills Team Player
