Then let's talk.Responsibilities:Building the schema and SQL code behind our complex suite of web-based applicationsMaking sure data is stored efficiently and can be retrieved quickly (We maintain numerous databases and servers that integrate as an ecosystem to serve our clients' needs.)Troubleshooting and tuning complex SQL statements in a fast-paced environment and making recommendations on indexing strategiesWorking on a variety of projects and systems, from big to small and complex to simpleWorking with a dynamic team of web developers, business analysts, and product owners to build the best applications in the financial industryPerforming code reviews, learning from your peers, and sharing your knowledge with them in a positive, friendly wayQualifications: 5-10+ years of experienceA solid understanding of relational modeling conceptsAbility to write, troubleshoot, and performance-tune stored procedures and ad hoc scriptsA willingness to dive in, solve problems, and get things donePrior experience troubleshooting/coding within a complex, online, transaction processing system (OLTP)Experience in the financial sector a plusSummary: Have we piqued your curiosity?
