Seeking Internal Medicine Faculty provider to join residency program in Tallahassee, FL. We enjoy the status of continued accreditation with commendation with the ACGME. Our faculty members are committed to providing a solid, yet engaging education to our residents. A broad array of medical subspecialist support the training program. And, we have an opportunity for a dynamic faculty member with interest and some experience in Research and Quality Improvement. Our team is a collaborative group of clinician educators focused on training the next generation of physicians who offer the right balance of didactic experiences with an emphasis in on-hands experience. Pocus training is included in our training. Our faculty believes in leading by example with the outmost professionalism and communication skills. We have caps on the wards rotations so that you can enjoy teaching medicine with a manageable patient load. We often have students on the teams. The position will be mainly outpatient, based with some inpatient coverage. You will be overseeing all QI projects, research, and all scholarly activities, and creating research opportunities Also, you will be leading, with a senior resident, eight M&Ms and eight journal clubs per year.
