Junior Developer/DevOps Engineer

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Junior Developer / DevOps Engineer to support application development, deployment automation, and infrastructure operations. You will work with experienced engineers to deliver improvements, troubleshoot issues, and build your software engineering and DevOps skills.Key responsibilities include:Develop, test, and maintain application features under technical guidance.Assist with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.Write scripts to automate routine development and operational tasks.Support development, testing, and cloud environments.Monitor application and infrastructure health and investigate routine issues.Assist with container configuration and infrastructure as code.Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.Follow secure coding, access management, and change procedures.Collaborate with team members to resolve defects and improve reliability.QualificationsDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Basic proficiency in a programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.Familiarity with Git, APIs, software testing, and debugging.Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and command-line tools.Exposure to CI/CD, cloud platforms, Docker, or infrastructure as code is an advantage.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.Clear communication and effective teamwork skills.Relevant internships, academic projects, or personal projects are welcome; extensive professional experience is not required.
