Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Level 3) – HTX
Location: Houston, Tx (travel required to job sites)
Pay: $85,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime/weekends as needed)

Position Summary
Ragle Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking Level 3 Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a large heavy machinery fleet. This is a field-based position requiring travel to various project sites throughout the Houston, Tx and other areas to complete service calls on company-owned equipment.
Equipment includes excavators, skid steers, rollers, and more (John Deere, JLG, Sakai, Gomaco, Terex, CAT, etc.).
Responsibilities
Travel to job sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Diagnose engine, hydraulic, and electrical system issues
Use hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools to remove and replace parts
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements
Complete service paperwork and documentation as assigned
Maintain schedules and priorities communicated by project management
Monitor equipment for defects and recommend repairs/replacements as needed
Maintain quality control standards at each project site
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills in engine, hydraulic, and electrical circuits
CAT SIS and CAT ET experience preferred
Experience working on various makes/models of heavy and small equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required)
Must provide own tools necessary to complete job duties
Additional Requirements
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
During slow periods, may be required to work out of our shop
