As one of the most diverse and flexible beverage manufacturers in the country, we produce everything from teas and energy drinks to malt-based beverages.Our Opportunity: Dock CoordinatorStatus: Full TimeHours: 12-hour shift - 10a-10pSchedule: 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month!)Compensation: $24.00 - $25.50 per hour depending on experience[Plus, a $2.00 night shift differential if applicable]SummaryThis position is responsible for driving the warehouse personnel to ensure the most efficient and timely response to all requests from production and other departments of the company. Ensure that company policy and procedure are being followed.What You Will Be DoingWork with employees on each shift rotation to solve problems and create opportunities for success.Lead the forklift operators in the efficient receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies, products and raw materials.Assist in set up and control of FEFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials to the various departments of the company as requested.Monitors workflow between inbound and outbound loads and adjusts staffing accordingly to ensure loads are handled in a timely manner.Models load and paperwork handling best practices.Communicate with Front Office team on driving workload for the warehouse.Responsible to keep calendar up to date.Hold teams accountable for scanning and tagging productsEnsures timely reporting to management of all incidences that would impact food safety and personnel safety.Serves as a liaison between DC staff teams to facilitate streamlined communication and minimize load delays.Assist in moving and storing of product as needed.Assist in staging and preparation of documentation for product and material being picked up or shipped.Drives process improvement initiatives aimed at gaining efficiencies throughout the DC's.Creates SOPs as needed to ensure consistent methods used by all Forklift OperatorsProvide inventory for forklift operators when needed or when requestedPerforms all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customer.Communicate with all leads and supervisors with an update at the end of each shift.Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.What You Need to BringMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret in English.Ability to work within warehouse management system and scanning equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills3+ years Warehouse/Forklift experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAP or other inventory management systemsExperience with GMP and/or HACCP regulationsKnowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portalsForklift certificationJob SettingThis role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce.
