Job Description About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled and motivated Toolmaker to join our team! In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly by designing, building, repairing, and maintaining critical tooling and equipment.If you enjoy hands-on work, precision machining, and being part of a collaborative shop environment where your expertise is valued, we'd love to talk with you.What You'll DoBuild, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, extrusion dies, and calibratorsSet up and operate Wire EDM (WEDM), CNC mills, and manual machining equipmentProgram CNC equipment using CAD/CAM softwareRead blueprints and specifications and produce tooling that meets tight tolerancesUse precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometersEnsure tooling is completed accurately and on timeKeep the toolroom clean, organized, and safeSupport and follow our Quality Management System (QMS)Participate in safety training and ongoing skill developmentHelp guide and support newer or developing shop team membersContribute to a positive toolroom culture and continuous improvement effortsTake on other tasks as needed to support the teamWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsTechnical College education in Machine/Tool Processes or equivalent hands-on experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read blueprints and work with precision measuring toolsExperience with machining equipmentDependable attendance and a strong work ethicPreferred Qualifications4+ years of experience as a Toolmaker or MachinistExperience with CAD/CAM programmingBasic computer skillsSolid math and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to regularly lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs with assistanceAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and carry tools or materials during 8–12 hour shiftsWillingness to support a 24-hour / 5-day-per-week manufacturing operationWhy You'll Like Working HereA hands-on role where your skills truly matterA team-oriented shop environmentOpportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to continuous improvementA company that values safety, quality, and craftsmanshipYou should be proficient in:Troubleshooting SkillsG-Code M-CodeCNC Machine Setup & ChangeoverPrecision Measurement & Hand MetrologyManual Machining SkillsTool/Die/Mold Repair SkillsTool/Die/Mold Setup ExperienceBlueprint ReadingMachines & technologies you'll use:CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)Manual Vertical Mill (Bridgeport)
