This platform is designed to be a single-source solution for all operational needs, driving extensive efficiency gains and providing best-in-class advanced analytics and insights.Benchmark Analytics provides a comprehensive, all-in-one solution that is advancing police force management through state-of-the-art technology and market-leading data and analytics.The Role:We are currently seeking a talented Data Integration Principal to join us as we develop our data driven, analytic focused and predictive products to help revolutionize the law enforcement sector.Responsibilities:Design and implement efficient data extraction processes that meet client, and internal stakeholder needs while maintaining data accuracy and completenessExtract data from diverse client source systems to ensure effective and complete transfer of dataWork directly with clients (onsite and/or remotely) to identify and extract data from numerous distinct data systemsCreate data extraction processes within client systems which enable the continual delivery of client data from source system to target systemDocument data extraction processes and provide support to clients as needed to ensure effective and continual delivery of dataAnalyze and manipulate large file-based and server-based datasets using data transformation tools (Sagemaker, Clover, Athena, Etc.) to effectively map data from source systems to target systemsContinuously optimize these processes to increase efficiency, scalability and quality of dataImport received data into internal Benchmark Data Systems, ensuring completeness and retention of data meaning.Validate received/extracted data for completeness to ensure that data meets data science and system requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve any data extraction issues that may ariseIdentify data quality issues, investigate and complete root cause analyses and work with the appropriate teams to resolve themMonitor data integration and extraction processes to ensure they are running efficiently and effectivelyWork with the research, product, and engineering teams to critique and iteratively improve data extraction and integration processes, to ensure that data is being collected and stored in an efficient, accurate, and scalable mannerDevelop and maintain data models and schemas that enable efficient data access and analysisPeriodic travel within the United States requiredJob Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, or related fields8+ years of experience in databases, data extraction, data integration, or a related fieldAbility and willingness to teach/coach othersProficiency in SQL, Python, and other scripting languagesStrong understanding of data integration and extraction technologies and processesStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, and data modeling techniquesExperience with data validation and quality assurance processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience at a consulting company preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFluent Proficiency in Spanish PreferredWhat We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.Unlimited paid time off (PTO).Ability to work in a fully remote environment (must be based in the U.S. and willing to work in Central Time Zone).Medical, dental, and vision plan offerings along with 401(k).Employer-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance.Other Voluntary Benefits include additional Life Insurance, Spouse Life Insurance, and Accident Insurance.The satisfaction that comes with being part of a solution that has real impact in the world.A diverse workforce and inclusive environment that embraces unique contributions and experiences.An empowered culture that encourages creativity and professional growth.Estimated Annual Salary Range:140k-170k, based on experience and locationHow to Apply:If interested, please submit an application or email your resume to riley.maloney@benchmarkanalytics.comBenchmark Analytics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
