Behavior Technician

In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your enthusiasm, compassion, and dedication will help empower clients to reach their full potential. *Duties* * Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene to foster independence and improve quality of life * Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans * Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors * Support clients during structured teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies to facilitate skill acquisition in areas such as communication, socialization, and self-care * Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies * Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts, teachers, caregivers, and families to ensure consistency across environments and maximize client success * Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, ethical standards, and best practices for working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities *Skills* * Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) * Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and implementing ABA therapy protocols effectively * Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, and client communication to track progress and adjust interventions as needed * Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health needs in home or clinical settings * Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance * Experience working within special education environments or school settings is a plus * Demonstrated professionalism with a focus on ethical conduct aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Embark on a rewarding career path where your efforts directly enhance the lives of those you serve.
