Industrial Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their team in Camden, AR. Day to day responsibilities include analyzing and improving processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality within a manufacturing or production environment. Also, this role evaluates workflows, conducts data and time studies, and partners with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement. The Industrial Engineer supports process documentation, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while helping implement operational changes to support business and production goals. A background within aerospace/defense is highly preferred and will need to hold or be able to obtain a US Secret Clearance. Bachelor's Degree in STEM related field • 7+ years of experience working in Industrial Engineer - Process and Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Improvement, and Strategic Planning • Experience working in an environment with Lean Six Sigma (Black or Green Belt preferred)• Familiarity using tools to create data dashboards such as: Python & PowerBI• Background using AUTOCAD to create drawings and process flows • Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance
