Drill Rig Operator

Drill Rig Operator - Watson 1100 TM or EDT-7 Track Mount DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Will be responsible for operating directional bore equipment and adhering to ALL manufacturer provided safety operational procedures and industry safety standards. Will be responsible for operating trenchers, plows, backhoes and bobcats. Will be required to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills and saws when needed. Operator will direct others to mix slurry. Must have previous knowledge and experience of underground utility installations and must understand utility locate law and compliance procedures. Ideal candidates will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow job specifications and orders. Available to travel and work overtime. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND ABILITIES: Previous experience operating a Drill Rig. Minimum 2-year experience preferred. Time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of mathematics and basic calculations. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Maintain an effective working relationship with others. Perform with minimum supervision. Perform heavy physical work, often under adverse weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential injuries. WORK REQUIREMENTS: Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Be able to provide valid documentation for I9 documents (DL, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate) Report to work at designated start time. Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA. Active CDL Class A or B is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a "Full Time" hourly position paying the following range $22-25. These rates are dependent upon skill set, licensing and experience.
