Server/Bartender

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bartender to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, be knowledgeable about a wide range of beverages, and be able to work effectively in a busy setting. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the bar, glasses, and utensils - Manage cash register and operate a Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently - Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering food to tables - Handle customer transactions, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards - Maintain a high level of hospitality and ensure that all customers have a positive experience - Provide exceptional service to guests, including helping guests with menu selection and answering questions - Participate in banquet and event service, including setting up and breaking down events - Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu and be able to make recommendations - Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards - Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and tips - Use retail math skills to manage inventory and make accurate change - Work effectively in a nightclub setting, including managing crowds and handling rowdy guests - Utilize Aloha POS system to manage orders and handle transactions - Provide help to other staff members as needed - Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times **Experience:** - Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting - Knowledge of food and beverage service and hospitality practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once - Experience with a POS system and cash handling - Basic math skills and ability to manage inventory - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects - Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay: $5.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift: Day shift Evening shift Ability to Commute: Allentown, PA 18101 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Allentown, PA 18101: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
