Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Description Job Summary: Provision of high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring safety, accuracy, and adherence to facility standards. Responsible for treatment simulations, equipment preparation, and maintaining precise documentation within electronic medical records. Responsibilities:Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and safety protocols.Perform treatment simulations, fabricate required shielding blocks, and conduct quality control and assurance tests on equipment.Maintain accurate and detailed entries in the EMR system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Adhere to infection control procedures and optimal radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.Collaborate effectively with medical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care efforts.Monitor and maintain equipment performance, performing routine quality checks to ensure optimal function. Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapist experience required.Current ARRT (T) certification required.Possess at least 1 year of travel or post-graduate work experience with Varian and ARIA systems required.Experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy preferred.Demonstrate proficiency in radiation safety, treatment planning, and patient simulation techniques.
