Manager, Data Science & Machine Learning
For our client, we are seeking a Manager Data Science & Machine Learning to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Data Science & Machine Learning models Oversee daily team operations, ensuring priorities are set and delivery standards are met Define and promote best practices for data science across the organization Act as a subject matter expert for data science methods and problem-solving Collaborate with other data science leads to align on standards and promote community Work with MLOps team on model release and maintenance Participate in project planning sessions with business stakeholders to design technical solutionsQualifications 3+ years of hands-on data science experience, specifically deploying models to production Experience with ML engineering practices including model serving and monitoring Familiarity with modern MLOps tooling like MLflow or Databricks 4+ years of experience managing a team of data scientists, focusing on hiring and performance management Proficiency in Python and the ability to review code and models effectively Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning and production failure modes Comfort with cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS or AzureBenefits Flexible paid time off and remote work options Equity options to share in the company's success Pension plan contributions for financial security Training opportunities to advance skills and career Health and wellness credits for overall wellbeing Volunteering time off to support community involvement Employee-led networks and social committees for engagement Computer purchase program for personal devices Enhanced parental leave to support family growthOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
