Ascendo Resources is partnering with a well-regarded boutique law firm in Greenville, South Carolina that is expanding its litigation practice and seeking a driven Construction Litigation Attorney to join their team. This is a tremendous opportunity to grow your career alongside a collaborative group of talented attorneys in a firm known for its culture, quality of work, and commitment to its clients.About the Role:As a key member of the litigation team, you will handle complex construction disputes from inception through resolution — including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial. You will work with contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, and design professionals across a variety of construction-related matters.Responsibilities:Manage construction litigation matters including contract disputes, defect claims, delay and disruption claims, lien and bond issues, and insurance coverage mattersDraft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs in state and federal courtConduct depositions, manage discovery, and prepare cases for trial and arbitrationAdvise clients on risk mitigation, contract review, and dispute resolution strategiesCollaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to firm growth and client development effortsQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive licensure and good standing with the South Carolina State Bar (required)Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience (construction experience a plus, but not required)Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage a dynamic caseloadTeam-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service excellenceWhy This Opportunity???Growing office with real upward potentialCollegial, supportive team of experienced attorneysBoutique environment — your work makes a direct impactLocated in vibrant, fast-growing Greenville, SCCompetitive Salary and Benefits offered.
