DescriptionAs a Host, a typical day might include the following:Greeting guests with a welcoming smile and providing them with fast, friendly serviceAssigning and escorting guests to their tablesMonitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to company guidelinesPromoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional mannerWorking well with others as you will be working with other hosts, servers, bartenders, support and managementRemembering guest's names and utilizing them when appropriateBuilding guest loyaltyMaintaining a clean and stocked work areaOther duties as assignedRequirementsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:At least 1 year previous hosting experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurantA neat and professional appearanceAbility to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workersAbility to demonstrate teamwork with other staff membersMust have a friendly and welcoming demeanor, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Demands / Work Environment / HoursThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
