The Specialist ensures that OASIS data and ICD-10 coding are accurate and compliant with State and Federal regulations from a technical standpoint. This role focuses on data integrity, workflow efficiency, and the precise application of coding guidelines to support the agency's financial and regulatory healthMinimum QualificationsEducation Bachelor preferred. ExperienceMinimum of three years of experience in home health coding or health information management preferred. Licensure and/or CertificationHome Care Coding Specialist (HCS-D) requiredHome Care Clinical Specialist-OASIS (HCS-O), or Certification of OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) requiredSkillsProficiency in OASIS, PPS, and Medicare COP’s.Strong attention to technical details.Computer literacy
