Lead Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance TechnicianThe ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, preventative maintenance, and general building repairs. This position requires a proactive problem solver who is technically savvy, detail-oriented, and able to respond effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections throughout the propertyTroubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systemsRespond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls in a timely mannerMaintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior groundsMonitor and maintain pool systems and chemical levelsIdentify operational issues before they become major failuresMaintain accurate maintenance logs, PM schedules, and work ordersMaintain parts inventoryAssist with vendor coordination and outside contractors when neededEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and local codesSupport renovation projects, equipment installations, and facility improvementsUtilize maintenance software and technology systems effectivelyQualificationsMinimum 3+ years of experience in hotel, commercial, apartment, or facility maintenanceStrong working knowledge of:Electrical troubleshootingPlumbing systemsHVAC systemsMechanical equipmentGeneral building maintenancePool certification OCCHD certified within 60 daysEPA certificationAbility to work with hand and power tools safelyExperience with preventative maintenance programsAbility to troubleshoot independently and prioritize multiple tasksStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable with multiple technologiesFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls as neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in indoor/outdoor environmentsPreferred TraitsSelf-motivated and dependableStrong communication skillsProfessional appearance and attitudeTeam-oriented with a willingness to assist other departmentsCalm under pressure and solutions-focusedTakes ownership and pride in the condition of the property
