We encourage you to apply for the positions for which you meet the qualifications.Job SummaryThe Associate Analytics Engineer will support the design, development, and deployment of analytics applications and data solutions for the Applied AI and Analytics team. This role will contribute to UI/UX improvements, front-end and low-code application development, data engineering workflows, and cloud-based solution delivery. Working with Python, React.js, SQL, Power Apps, Azure REST integrations, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), you will help build scalable, user-focused tools and data products that improve business processes and decision-making.The Associate Analytics Engineer will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remotely.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and enhance analytics applications and internal tools with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and intuitive user experienceDevelop front-end and low-code solutions using React.js, Power Apps, and related technologies to support business workflows and analytics use casesBuild and maintain foundational data engineering workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and integration from multiple enterprise data sourcesWrite and optimize SQL and Python code to support analytics applications, APIs, automation, and reporting processesSupport application and service deployment using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Linux-based environments, and CI/CD pipeline development and release processesWork with Azure REST APIs and other integration patterns to connect applications, services, and data platformsAssist with dashboard and analytics solution development, including testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement based on user feedbackConduct data quality checks and support documentation of data flows, technical designs, and deployment processesCollaborate with analytics engineers, data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutionsOther duties as assigned, including supporting prototype development, user adoption, and operational improvements across analytics products and platformsQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative fieldMinimum 1 year of experience in analytics engineering, software development, data engineering, or a related technical roleProficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, automation, and application supportExperience with React.js, Power Apps, or similar technologies for front-end or low-code application developmentFoundational understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality practicesFamiliarity with Azure services, Azure REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, WSL, and Linux environments, preferably Ubuntu, including deployment concepts such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with attention to detail and a user-focused mindsetThe individual is required to follow all applicable safety precautions. Work is performed almost entirely in a controlled (i.e., inside) environment and does not typically subject the incumbent to any hazardous/extreme elements; some positions may require regularly moving or transporting items weighing up to 25 lbs. around the office for various needs.
