Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE.About the Role: eNGINE is hiring a Sr Software Engineer to help lead the technical direction of our cloud-native SaaS platform. We're building secure, multi-tenant solutions on Azure and Snowflake, and this role sits at the center of that work — defining architecture, writing production code, and guiding the broader engineering team as we modernize away from older monolithic patterns.This is a hands-on role first and foremost. You'll spend the majority of your time coding, prototyping, and hardening solutions across the full stack — not just setting direction from the sidelines.What You'll Do:Define Azure-first, API-driven architecture standards for our multi-tenant SaaS applicationsBuild modern UIs using Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including micro frontend patternsDesign and build APIs and microservices running on AKS and Azure FunctionsBuild data pipelines using Snowflake and Azure data services, including ingestion and transformation work with dbtSet standards around tenant isolation, observability, and cost governanceDefine SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, and help lead incident response and postmortem practicesPartner with Product, QE, SRE, Security, and Compliance teams, and present architecture decisions and trade-offs to stakeholdersGuide the broader team through the shift from monoliths to microservices and micro frontendsWhat we're looking for:Strong, hands-on development experience — this role is genuinely 50/50 front-end and back-end, not lopsided in either directionSolid back-end experience in Java, with a real understanding of API design and distributed systemsStrong front-end experience with Angular and JavaScript/TypeScriptHands-on experience with micro frontend architectures (module federation or similar)Comfort working across cloud-native Azure services (AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Hubs, Key Vault, and similar)Experience with CI/CD through Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsWillingness to write and own your own tests — deep testing expertise isn't required, but a willingness to do it isSome background working with data is a strong plus, given the team's focusNext Steps:No C2C, relocation, referral, or sponsorship candidates for this role.For finer details on how eNGINE can impact your career, apply today!
