This is an individual contributor role focused on expanding our enterprise customer base by developing and closing integrated logistics solutions across warehousing, brokerage, and port drayage services.This position is ideal for a strategic “hunter” who thrives on building new relationships, uncovering opportunities, and delivering tailored, value-driven logistics solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentProactively prospect and build a robust pipeline of enterprise-level opportunities across warehousing, port drayage, and truckload brokerageDrive new business acquisition through a strong hunter mentality, while identifying opportunities to expand existing accountsGenerate profitable revenue growth through strategic account developmentCustomer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including beneficial cargo owners (BCOs)Develop a deep understanding of customer operations, challenges, and goals to deliver customized logistics solutionsEstablish long-term, partnership-focused relationships grounded in trust and performanceSales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to consistently meet or exceed revenue targetsClearly articulate Harbor’s value proposition and logistics capabilities to align with customer needsLead solution-based sales conversations that position Harbor as a trusted partnerCollaboration & Cross-Functional AlignmentPartner closely with operations, pricing, finance, customer service, and executive leadership to ensure seamless onboarding and executionAlign sales strategies with company objectives, market trends, and growth initiativesReporting & Performance ManagementMaintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and account updates within CRM systemsProvide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, and market insightsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fieldProven success in enterprise sales or business development within logistics (warehousing, port drayage, and/or truckload brokerage)Existing relationships with BCOs strongly preferredStrong negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsSelf-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to operate independentlyExperience with CRM platforms and logistics technologiesWillingness to travel as neededWhy Harbor?Harbor offers a competitive base salary, performance-driven incentive structure, and comprehensive benefits package.
