At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.We have immediate openings for our Dockworker/Forklift Operator 2nd Shift positionPart-Time – Mon thru Fri – 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM$21-$22 per hour What you will do on a typical shift:Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freightUse appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by handSecure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and suppliesWork in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policiesWork on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slipperyLift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionally)What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:To be at least 18 years of ageMust have successful completion of a county level background check during onboardingAbility to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculatorStrong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skillsIt would be great if you also have:Dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industryForklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environmentExperience loading and unloading trailersDesire to succeed with a strong attention to detailWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
