We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Chemo Certified RN to deliver specialized care to patients with acute leukemia, primarily focusing on newly diagnosed cases. You will be part of a dedicated team providing optimal patient outcomes through meticulous monitoring, administration of chemotherapy, and management of complex vascular access devices. Required SkillsValid BLS, ACLS, and ONS Chemotherapy Certification Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health records Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, including PICC line care Ability to use Rapid Response Teams effectively Strong infection prevention and patient safety skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Nice to Have SkillsNIHSS certification Experience with adult and geriatric oncology patients Knowledge of infection control protocols specific to oncology settings Ability to educate patients and families about chemotherapy and vascular access management Preferred Education and ExperienceRegistered Nursing license (RN) in good standing Two or more years of acute care nursing experience, preferably in hematology-oncology or critical care Chemo certification is mandatory, and prior experience with oncology patients is highly valued Other RequirementsMust hold current BLS, ACLS, and ONS Chemo Certification Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 on a rotating schedule Willingness to participate in self-scheduling and adapt to unit needs Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements provided as applicable Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $65.76, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive benefits, generous referral bonuses, paid sick leave, and ongoing support from our dedicated team.
