Serve as a resource to OCOB leaders, faculty, and staff for policy and procedure. Serves as the primary contact to coordinate the annual Review, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) process, including maintaining a complex calendar of deadlines, stewarding each case file through the process, maintaining a spreadsheet tracking system, summary reporting on individual case files, drafting review memos for editing by the Dean or Associate Dean, and extensive collaboration with the Academic Personnel Office on campus. Maintain electronic personnel files for all OCOB faculty in accordance with CSU and Cal Poly requirements. Process faculty personnel actions such as lecturer contracts, summer payments, one-time stipends and awards, visiting faculty documents, and other payment contracts. Coordinate all faculty searches, which includes drafting the requisition, initiating the recruitment process, posting job ads, summarizing candidate information for search committees, scheduling interviews, and processing new hire documents. Coordinate new employee onboarding activities for all employees within the College. Foster and maintain effective working relationships with all partner staff and offices at Cal Poly related to job functions.Education And ExperienceEquivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. One year of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.SalaryAnticipated Hiring Range: $27.69 -$30.57 Per HourClassification Range: $27.69 - $40.34 Per HourFactors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
