Solenois is a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree.We are seeking a Key Account Manager to support and expand industrial water treatment programs for customers in the Salt Lake City region. This role combines technical expertise, relationship management, and commercial strategy to deliver Solenois' value to customers across refineries, chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial sites.The Key Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of customer treatment programs, driving revenue retention and growth, and serving as a trusted advisor on cooling, boiler, and wastewater system optimization.Technical Program ManagementConduct routine testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting for cooling, boiler, and wastewater treatment systemsOptimize chemical programs to improve system performance, asset protection, and operational reliabilityTroubleshoot feed systems, pumps, controllers, and monitoring equipmentConduct audits, system surveys, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvementCustomer Relationship & Account GrowthBuild strong, long‐term relationships with operations, engineering, reliability, and procurement teamsIdentify new business opportunities within existing accounts and develop value‐driven proposalsPresent technical reports, KPIs, business reviews, and program recommendations clearly and professionallyCollaborate with customers to address performance issues, implement corrective actions, and strengthen partnership valueCommercial OwnershipManage account revenue, pricing execution, and contract performanceDeliver targeted growth through consultative selling and program expansionSupport inventory management, chemical ordering, and coordination of on‐site service requirementsPartner with internal Solenois teams to ensure timely delivery, high service quality, and customer satisfactionSafety & ComplianceModel and reinforce Solenois' safety culture across all customer locationsEnsure compliance with customer safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Solenois standardsMaintain accurate and timely records of service activities, audit findings, and program performanceWhat You'll BringBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related fieldMust live within 45 minutes of Texas City, TX or be willing to relocate.Have previous experience in Refineries/Industrial Water Treatment, especially boilers, cooling towers and waste waterPossess strong relationship management skills and be able to establish relationships at all levels of managementProven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver strong account retentionExcellent communication, problem‐solving, and organizational skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordPerks!Competitive health + wellness benefit planContinuous professional development with many opportunities for growth!Recharge with 15 days of paid time offCompetitive Salary and bonuses401k PlanCompany car for travel convenienceCome work with us at Solenois, where you can build a career that makes a difference.We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
