Network Engineer (Mid/Senior level)

Fuse is currently developing, integrating, and testing secure communications networks for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments. This role will architect and develop network-based solutions throughout all phases of the development cycle, from requirements generation, to testing, to deployment. Must have in-depth experience with Linux, modeling environments and virtualized systems.What you'll do: Develop and provide input for network architectures for our systems and customersDevelop configurations for switches and routers Translate user and system requirements to system functionalities and realityDevelop and implement network security architectures with HAIPE, IPSEC, TLS, and other protocols WAN, LAN, WLAN, VOIP setup and troubleshooting Support design, development, and test efforts for an airborne tactical networking system Implement router protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP, PPPoE, and MANETImplement IA controls and ensure compliance with DoD RMF Work as a team throughout the design process, supporting sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and scrumsGet in front of real-world operators to understand needs and requirements from an end-user point of viewRequirementsB.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related Technical field, or 5 years equivalent experience Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Routing & Switching (or CCNA Security)5+ years of experience as a network engineerUnderstanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, subnets, protocols, and standardsDemonstrated experience with Linux OS Experience with Linux System Administration, firewalls and settingsExperience with virtualized systems applications and administration (VMWare, Esxi,KVM)Excellent communication skills US Citizen Ability to obtain or maintain a secret clearance Your own unique talents!
