We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, tubing assemblies and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.Who You AreWorking on 2nd shift in our Manchester CT facility, the Assembler is responsible for the assembly of aerospace components to customer specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly:Building and preparing tube assemblies for weld and braze processes including rough trim, finish trim, clean tube ends and fittings.Contouring assemblies to fixture and layouts to meet customer print dimensionsUsing hand tools and machinery to assemble materials to specificationsReading and interpreting engineering instructions, travelers and blueprintsTroubleshooting issues with products and reporting any potential issuesBlueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints.Tool Usage: Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and machinery, including precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.Quality Control: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools to verify part conformance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
