Urgent Care Physician - Per Diem
This position is for a Physician in a Clinical Services setting, responsible for independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and illnesses in both adult and pediatric patients.Requires graduation from an accredited medical school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.Must hold an active state medical license and have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, including procedures like suturing and splinting.Key duties include patient examination, medical history assessment, diagnostics, prescribing medications, treating injuries, recording notes, patient education, vaccinations, and referrals.Supervises or collaborates with PA/NPs, including credentialing and case oversight.Work shifts are typically 8-12 hours, with other duties as assigned.Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills are essential, along with experience with EMRs.Equal employment opportunity is guaranteed, with compliance to applicable laws and privacy policies.
