Here are screening questions:1. Why do you like technical writing?2. What was the most difficult project you worked on and what did you learn from it?3. Share your experience working with conflict within a group dynamic or with a very difficult person and what did you learn from that?4. Share your experience interviewing technical SMEs to pull content for your writing and the strategies you use to gather technical content.5. Have your worked in a medical device or Pharma company previously?6. Share your experience working on engineering change orders?7. Share your experience working in a document change management system and the multiple rounds of updates needed to vet a change.8. Write a one page document on how to write a technical document.Technical Writer:Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia, web-based publications and user sites; may produce content for embedded user assistance technology. Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users. May document engineering processes and specifications. Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements. Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
