Material Handler (3:30pm - 2am shift)
Build what powers tomorrow-join Intervala, where advanced electronics manufacturing meets innovation, precision, and purpose.We are looking for a Material Handler to add to our team on 2nd shift (3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday)Job Summary & Essential FunctionsThe Material Handler will maintain the flow of material from receiving to storage to production to shipping with a high focus on receiving.Prepare and provide proper documentationPull material from stock to provide the material necessary for an assigned jobTransact materials to update the business systemPhysically receive all incoming material, opening packages, crates, and checking material for visible damageVerify parts and part numbers against packing list to ensure accuracy and notify supervisor of all discrepanciesDeliver items to incoming quality inspection, if applicable, and all other material to proper storage areasDeliver the parts to the designated work centers or staging areas, ensuring timely response to any deadlines or ship datesHandle, store, pack, label, and distribute material using proper techniques to ensure no damage to the material as well as to ensure inventory accuracyRearrange storage area as necessary to accommodate varying parts, components and finished stock while maintaining storage area in a clean and orderly conditionPrepare and package products to ship, by adhering to specific packaging instructionsComplete shipping activities to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries to recipientsSupport the first in first out practices while storing all inventory itemsAssist in enforcing all processes so that only authorized personnel can receive or distribute materials to or from stockAssist in entering data into the business system daily, support and maintain any documentation systemsAdhere to the General Requirements for Team MembersKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesBeginner level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and computersAbility to operate equipment required to pack and move productsKnowledge of proper techniques for lifting and carryingAbility to work in a high volume, high detail work environmentAbility to read, comprehend and follow instructionsAbilities listed in General Requirements for Team MembersRequired Experience & EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of relevant job experienceWhy You'll Love Working HereCompetitive pay and great benefits- including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offBe part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunitiesA supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matterMeaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the worldIntervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Intervala is required to verify the status of all employees to determine whether each employee is a U.S. Person or a Foreign Person for the purposes of determining if an export authorization is required to approve an employee's access to export-controlled items, not as a condition for hire.Equal Opportunity Employer
