Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Sales Administration & Market Development Associate to support our rapidly growing solar and renewable energy sales team.This role combines market intelligence, data analytics, and business development support to help drive growth and operational excellence in commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects. You will play a key role in tracking incentive programs, managing CRM data, coordinating industry outreach, and ensuring our team has the strategic insights and resources needed to expand our market presence.Key Responsibilities Market & Policy ResearchConduct ongoing market analysis to identify new opportunities, key accounts, and potential partners in the solar, EV charging, and energy storage sectors.Research and summarize federal and state incentive programs (e.g., ITC, IRA, RISE PA, Illinois Shines, SREC markets, etc.) and communicate their financial implications for project development.Track emerging policy, permitting, and utility regulations affecting project economics and timelines.Compile competitive intelligence reports on pricing, project trends, and local market dynamics.Industry Events, Webinars & NetworkingCoordinate the company’s participation in renewable energy conferences, trade shows, and webinars (SME, ICSC, Smart Energy Decisions, etc.).Manage event logistics, booth materials, registration, and lead tracking.Support post-event follow-up campaigns and CRM lead integration.Identify speaking opportunities and partnership initiatives to increase the company’s visibility in target markets. Sales Data & Performance AnalysisMaintain and update dashboards tracking sales KPIs, proposal volume, conversion rates, and regional performance.Analyze CRM and project data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for leadership review.Customer Outreach & CRM ManagementManage the company’s CRM platform ensuring data accuracy, lead categorization, and activity tracking.Coordinate customer outreach campaigns, follow-ups, and engagement strategies with the sales and marketing teams.Support proposal preparation, contract administration, and document organization for active opportunities.Develop structured follow-up sequences for leads and referrals, increasing close rates and client satisfaction.
