FullStack Developer

Overview In this role you will help build and shape a new Commercial Lending Platform, delivering high-performance software in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and proofs of concept, driving rapid delivery of innovative lending products. You’ll thrive by adopting new technologies, continuously testing, and refactoring to keep the platform scalable. ResponsibilitiesCore member of an agile team responsible for user story analysis, design, development, and automation testingHands-on software development and testing with a focus on rapid deliveryWrite substantial code, API specs, conduct code reviews, and perform testing in sprintsIdentify opportunities to adopt new technologies and anticipate future challengesRefactor code and use visualization techniques to accelerate conceptsCollaborate with technical product managers to prioritize features and manage technical requirementsMay be assigned to a specific platform or join a dynamic project poolUse automation tools to create regression test scripts and enable continuous development Key requirements2+ years of software engineering experienceExperience with Agile or rapid application development methodsJava development in an Enterprise setting using J2EE; frameworks such as MEAN, Spring, Hibernate; SQL and NoSQL databases; Big Data platformsObject-oriented design and coding skills across Java, HTML, DB2, XML, Oracle, MQ Series, Data PowerExperience with Red Hat JBoss Suite (EAP, JBPM, JBRMS, Camel, FUSE) is a plusXML, JSON, web services (SOAP, REST), and data structure fundamentalsContinuous integration with JenkinsFamiliarity with Hibernate ORM, Spring Batch and Spring Data (desirable)Experience with Apache tools; Cassandra, Camel, Maven (plus)Experience with distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases (NoSQL a plus)Understanding of Business Rules Management Systems (Pega, Blaze, Drools etc.) (plus)Ability to communicate with technical, product, and external partnersExperience with web services and Open API development; SOA concepts preferredExperience with payments technology and domain knowledge is a plusBachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or related tech discipline; equivalent work experienceRelevant technical certifications are a plusEffective communicator across third parties, technical and business stakeholdersHunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working softwareAble to think abstractly and solve ambiguous problemsJavaJ2EESpring
