The Gear Specialist will service our existing customer base by offering design support, technical specifications, material quotations, and designing gear solutions for specific solar projects. Candidates will assist customers in person, via email, and on the phone.Reports to: Profit Center ManagerMinimum Qualifications:+ 3 years' experience in either solar or electrical gear preferred+ Experience interacting with customers and manufacturer representativesPreferred Qualifications:+ Bachelor's degreeWorking Conditions:Working conditions will vary among office, warehouse environment, and job-site visits.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoEssential Job Functions:+ Communicate with suppliers to discuss material specifications+ Clarify and confirm bill of materials+ Negotiate pricing and identify alternatives for special or custom orders+ Provide solar gear expertise for preparing customer quotations+ Design custom solutions for gear design on solar projects of varying sizes and specificities+ Communicate with customers to resolve problems with projects during bidding process+ Follow up on open and outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers to determine status+ Communicate with account representatives, account executives, and inside sales reps to ensure quotes and resulting orders are completeCED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | VeteranCompensation Range:The compensation range for this position is $75000 to $100000 annually.Other Compensation:The following additional compensation may be applicable for this position:+ Commission+ Bonus+ Profit SharingBenefits:Benefits available for this position are:+ Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision Care+ Long Term Disability Insurance after 25 months+ Life Insurance at 1X your annual salary+ 401(k) (18 or older)+ Paid Sick Leave - accrue 0.0347 hours per qualified hour worked, up to 72 hours annually, usable after 90 days+ Paid Holidays - 9 days each year+ Paid Vacation - accrue 0.03847 hours per qualified hour worked, up to 80 hours annually+ Paid Pregnancy & New Parent Leave+ Health Savings Account (HSA) and matching+ Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)+ Teledoc
