Practice Manager - Geneva Primary Care/FLH Primary CareLocation: Geneva, NY Medical Arts Building.Employment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryThe Practice Manager provides primary oversight of administrative and operational functions at Geneva Primary Care and FLH Primary Care (approximately 60% operational focus). This role is responsible for supervising staff, optimizing daily practice operations, and ensuring a high level of patient and provider satisfaction.The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This individual will collaborate closely with providers and staff to improve workflows, enhance patient experience, and support Occupational Health and Worker's Compensation services.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the physician practiceSupervise staff and ensure appropriate utilization of resourcesMaintain effective communication with internal teams and external partnersDevelop, implement, and maintain efficient office systems and proceduresCollaborate with providers to improve processes and resolve operational issuesSupport Occupational Health and Worker's Compensation program activitiesManage scheduling workflows, payroll processes, and administrative functionsPromote a positive, patient-centered environment focused on safety, dignity, and respectRequired QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in physician practice operationsMinimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership roleExperience with computerized patient scheduling systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EMR systemsStrong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codingExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of physician office operations and medical billingExperience creating and managing operating budgetsExperience with Medent systemsBackground in outpatient registration/admissionsKnowledge of medical terminologyExperience in scheduling and billing processesFamiliarity with Occupational Health, DOT, and Worker's CompensationAdditional RequirementsDemonstrates behaviors aligned with a healing, patient-centered environment, including professionalism, effective communication, and respect for all individualsAbility to provide services across all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populationsOccupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may occur; adherence to safety protocols is requiredWhy Join Us?Join a collaborative healthcare team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
