Directs the personnel who fill the plates on the patient trays to assure that the proper foods are properly apportioned and the trays are garnished. Trains and supervises cafeteria, catering, and utility personnel. Conducts in-service instruction. Completes forms for and monitors employee attendance and performance. Conducts routine sanitation and food safety surveillance to ensure compliance with dept. and regulatory standards regarding food handling, food safety, safety in the workplace, food distribution, packaging, storing, labeling, dating, and serving. Maintains log and records of performance and compliance with standards as stated.Work requires a high school level of educational development and three to five years of previous work related experience. ServSafe Manager Certification Required.
