Position Overview
We are seeking a Client Relations Manager to manage and grow relationships with existing clients while ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who excels at communication, coordination, and long-term partnership building within the HVAC, controls, and construction environment.
The Client Relations Manager will serve as a key point of contact for clients, working closely with internal engineering, production, and project teams to ensure expectations are met and opportunities for repeat business are identified.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients and accounts
Maintain regular communication with clients to understand needs, expectations, and upcoming projects
Coordinate closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution
Act as the client advocate internally, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution
Support proposal development, pricing discussions, and contract follow-up
Identify opportunities for additional services, system upgrades, or repeat business
Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and progress check-ins across NY
Track client interactions, project status, and follow-ups in CRM or internal systems
Represent the company at client meetings, job sites, and industry events
Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience in client relations, account management, or customer-facing roles within HVAC, BMS, controls, automation, or construction industries
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building automation, or controls preferred
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with in-person meetings and local travel
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
Customer-focused mindset with a solution-oriented approach
Based in New York and able to travel throughout the NYC metro area
Valid driver’s license
