In this role, you will architect and build scalable applications and integrations across our ERP and supply chain platforms. This is a high-impact role where you'll own critical systems, make architectural decisions, solve complex technical challenges in the retail/wholesale space, and pioneer the integration of AI agents and intelligent automation into our operations.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and lead development of web applications, APIs, and integrations to support sales, design, purchasing, and operations teamsDesign scalable data infrastructure including dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms using modern frameworksBuild enterprise-grade integrations between ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, and third-party APIs with focus on reliability and performanceDevelop sophisticated Python applications for data processing, ETL pipelines, and business process automation at scaleOwn critical systems for inventory management, order processing, and supply chain optimizationLead AI integration initiatives: Design and implement AI agents for document processing, data extraction, predictive analytics, and workflow orchestrationDrive technical innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging AI technologies (LLMs, vector databases, RAG systems) into production workflowsMentor engineering team members through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidanceCollaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical architecturesEstablish best practices for code quality, testing, deployment, and system monitoringRequired Qualifications5 years of software development experience with proven track record of shipping production systemsExpert-level proficiency in Python and modern web development frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar)Strong experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) including query optimization and schema designProven expertise in API design (REST, GraphQL) and microservices architectureProduction experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including infrastructure as codeDeep knowledge of workflow automation, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestrationExperience with modern AI/ML tools and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for accelerated developmentStrong system design skills with ability to make sound architectural decisionsExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience architecting and deploying AI agents and autonomous systems in productionBackground in ERP systems, retail, e-commerce, or supply chain technologyDeep understanding of wholesale/retail operations and supply chain logisticsExperience with automation platforms (Zapier, n8n)Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB) and RAG architecturesExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of data modeling and analytics tools (dbt, Looker, Tableau)Track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical cultureCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive senior-level salary commensurate with experience ($130K-$180K depending on location and expertise)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) plan with company matchGenerous professional development budget for conferences, courses, and certificationsHybrid work flexibility with remote optionsOpportunity to shape technical direction and lead AI transformation initiativesWork with cutting-edge AI technologies in a production environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
