Job OverviewJoin our team as a Pre-licensed Masters Associate Level Therapist, working remotely on a part-time or full-time basis. Must be licensed as a Pre-licensed Masters level therapist (LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCADC etc.) in the state of MD. We are looking for clinicians who are okay with a slow, steady build since referrals will be gradually built from part-time towards full-time (if desired), but those who desire to stay part-time are also welcome to apply! This exciting role offers an opportunity to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy, including adolescents, and adults.. You will support clients through individual therapy sessions and/or group therapy sessions (based on your areas of expertise), conduct comprehensive assessments, and contribute to treatment planning—all while gaining invaluable clinical experience in a flexible, telehealth environment. This paid position is ideal for emerging therapists eager to develop their skills, learn about private practice work, and make a meaningful difference in people's lives. We strive to provide thoughtful, ethical care that empowers clients to move beyond survival and toward lives marked by greater balance, purpose, and hope.Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):Accept referrals and maintain caseload between 8-30 sessions per week (For those seeking a light load, it is okay to remain PT as long as you maintain a minimum of 8 sessions/wk)Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plansDeliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, EMDR, or other evidenced-based treatments.Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety and well-beingEngage in case management activities including patient care coordination, medical documentation, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant medical recordsUtilize telehealth platforms effectively to provide seamless remote therapy sessions while adhering to privacy standardsDocument clinical notes accurately using CPT coding and ICD coding conventions for billing insurance and record-keeping purposes in a timely mannerAttend paid onboarding and check-ins with owner, as needed.SkillsStrong foundation in psychotherapy techniquesExperience working with adolescent and/or adult populations suffering from mental distress or mental health conditions as classified by DSM-5.Knowledge of crisis intervention methods, crisis management protocols, and behavior management strategiesFamiliarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions such as PTSD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use disorders or other mood-related disorders strongly preferred.Excellent communication skills for remote patient engagementAbility to perform comprehensive patient assessmentsUnderstanding of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records and patient informationWillingness to learn how to properly document session codes and notes to satisfy requirements of insuranceExperience/TrainingMasters Degree in counseling related fieldLicensed in a counseling-related field (LCSWA, LGMFT, LGPC etc.)1+ years experience with inpatient or outpatient clinical settings is strongly preferredTraining or experience providing faith-integrated therapy is welcomed, but not required.Payment StructureTherapists hired will be paid based on the number of sessions worked on tiered pay structure. If you are coming from agency work, know that documentation in private practice generally takes less time than in agencies.
