The laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Hourly rate based on experience. Shift hours: Monday through Friday 12 pm - 9 pm with extended hours on an as-needed basis.How you will make an impact: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:Performing manual material separation for processingRemoving non-compliant materials during the sorting processHandling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plantGeneral plant housekeeping inside and outside the buildingReporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staffWhat you need to succeed:0-2 years' experience in an industrial environmentExperience working in a fast-paced environmentRequired skills & competencies:High awareness to safety at all timesAbility to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrityAbility to sit for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to operate equipment properly and safelyStrict adherence to OSHA and company policies.Work environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a plant environment and may be exposed to hot or cold conditions. While performing outside maintenance, the employee may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.).
