Material Handler/Plant Laborer - 2nd Shift

Think P.A.P.E.R: People First, Accountable, Passionate, Ethical, Relentless The opportunity: Recycling Management Resources is seeking a full time plant laborer for our Raleigh facility. The laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. Hourly rate based on experience. Shift hours: Monday through Friday 12 pm - 9 pm with extended hours on an as-needed basis. How you will make an impact: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Performing manual material separation for processing Removing non-compliant materials during the sorting process Handling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plant General plant housekeeping inside and outside the building Reporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff What you need to succeed: 0-2 years' experience in an industrial environment Experience working in a fast-paced environment Required skills & competencies: High awareness to safety at all times Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate equipment properly and safely Strict adherence to OSHA and company policies. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a plant environment and may be exposed to hot or cold conditions. While performing outside maintenance, the employee may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
