This position will assist in evaluating effectiveness of programming. Will assist the Wellness Supervisor with a variety of tasks as directed. Wellness Assistant will contribute to an uplifting positive atmosphere in the greater PVE community. Is accountable for the quality of programs and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as, the policies and procedures of Paradise Valley Estates. The chosen candidate will share PVE’s vision and values to be an excellent cultural fit.Job responsibilities include:Reports significant information to the Wellness Coordinator or the Assisted Living Manager concerning significant resident problems during activities.Is alert for any changes in the resident's condition and reports these to the Wellness Coordinator or the Assisted Living Manager.Contributes ideas to the Wellness program and proactively seeks out ideas to bring to the table.Conducts scheduled activities with flare and enthusiasm.Remains flexible and adaptable.Communicates through appropriate channels.Handles difficult situations with good judgement.QualificationsA minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.No experience necessary. On the job training will be provided.
