The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of bankruptcy laws and corporate restructuring processes to provide expert advice and representation to clients facing financial challenges. This role requires a proactive approach to developing strategies that facilitate successful outcomes for clients in various corporate transactions and litigations.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on bankruptcy filings and restructuring processes.Represent clients in bankruptcy court and negotiate with creditors.Draft legal documents related to bankruptcy and corporate restructuring.Conduct legal research to support cases and stay updated on relevant laws.Assist in corporate transactions and ensure compliance with corporate law standards.Collaborate with other legal professionals to strategize case approaches.Manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Passed the barJr. 2+ years of experience in corporate lawSr. 7+ years of experience with at least 2nd chair experienceInterest in bankruptcy and restructuring law.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Entrepreneurial mindset, open to wearing multiple hatsIdeal candidate is flexible with doing a mix of litigation and transactional workBenefits- healthcare-vision-dental-100% of employee premium, 50% of dependents-401k plan you can participate in after 1 year of employment (match)
