Data Conversion Tester

IDR is seeking a Data Conversion Tester to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Olympia, Washington . In this role, you’ll lead critical data conversion and migration efforts supporting a large-scale public sector modernization initiative. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, complete, and business-ready data through multiple conversion cycles and production cutover. Position Overview for the Data Conversion Tester: Lead end-to-end data conversion and migration activities across the program lifecycle Develop and manage data conversion strategy, approach, plans, and execution Coordinate data extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation activities Drive conversion testing cycles including mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production conversion readiness Identify and resolve data-quality issues, defects, dependencies, and conversion risks with cross-functional teams Requirements for the Data Conversion Tester: 3–5 years of experience leading enterprise-scale data conversion or data migration initiatives Demonstrated ownership of data conversion activities through the full project lifecycle Prior experience supporting State or Government programs/projects Strong expertise in data extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation Proven ability to lead multiple conversion cycles and resolve complex data-quality and migration issues What's in it for you?
