Summer Encampment Position At Bohemian GroveThe Bohemian Grove is situated on 2,700 acres of towering redwood forest in the lower Russian River Valley in Sonoma County. For more than 150 years club members and their guests have ventured to the Grove to enjoy and partake in the arts, music, literature and drama as well as nature walks and fine dining. Come spend the summer working in this unique and beautiful environment. We offer flexible schedules and excellent hourly wages for a summer only commitment. Spring Jinks: Monday, June 8 thru June 14th, 2026 Summer Encampment: Monday July 6th thru July 31*, 2026 General: Staff are assigned to static posts for the purpose of welcoming members and guests as well checking valid credentials for all those entering the grove property Patrol assigned areas to observe and detect unauthorized persons and suspicious activity Prepare logs and reports as required Uniform: Polo shirt, pants and jacket provided Dark brown or black shoes or boots Other Duties Or Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Personal demeanor must be friendly at all times. With or without reasonable accommodations the physical and mental requirements of this position may require the incumbent to see, hear, speak and write clearly. The incumbent may be required to reach with hands and arms and be able to stoop and kneel. The incumbent may be required to frequently stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time and may be required to climb stairs and walk up inclines and on uneven terrain. Physical requirements may also include lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
